Conversation is an important skill in Spanish. In conversation assessments, students practice communicating as much as possible in Spanish and are assessed on the quantity and complexity of their communication (what they can convey and understand) rather than on the accuracy of their language. Conversation is assessed in both written and spoken modes in Spanish classes. Written conversations: Conversación escritaThe "Conversación escrita" assessment is an important ongoing assessment throughout the year. Students will complete 6-8 conversations over the course of the year, each of which represents several e-mails back and forth to their teacher. For more details, please read the conversación escrita overview and the conversación escrita rubric. |
