Presentations to begin the second week of May 9; right after
POLs.
Everyone: must read
chapter 16 pages 450-473, Evolution http://www.biology.com

Groups: you will be
assigned a section (16.1-16.4)
- You
will read the section and put together a presentation
- Create
a short quiz for students to take after the presentation. To evaluate
individual understanding of the material you presented on, you
(presenters) will be given a short quiz from the instructor.
Presentation Requirements:
- Key
words are explained thoroughly.
- Everyone
participates equally and understands
their assigned section.
- A 5-10
question quiz will be given and will
be graded by the groups. A score out of 100 points will be written on the
quiz and turned in to instructor the next class.
- One related
video will be shown (between 2-20
minutes) Make sure you watch the video before class.
- One news
article from a reliable source will
be shared with the class. This must be recent, no earlier than 2007.
