Each Wednesday, one of the high school advisories teams up to empty the recycling containers throughout the school. The Green Task force feels this activity supports our school's mission of community membership. Please help us by placing your sorted recyclables in the hall Wednesday mornings by 11 am. Instructions for Advisories: 1. The big "toters" for placing metals, glass, and plastic are located behind the school next to the dumpster. We have been using garbage bags to collect these materials and taking them outside to the blue bins. 2. Paper may be collected in the small blue toters by wheeling them around the school. Depending on your team's desire to go outside, you may either leave the toters near the loading dock (the cold hallway between Ms. Ferdinand's office and the Math/Science Office) or empty the containers into the Abitibi Paper dumpster outside of the loading dock. Bin is full to the windows? Please tell Kellie Burtch so we can arrange a pickup. 3.Divide and Conquer! Split up to cover all the floors in the school. We cover: the basement and main level of the HS as well as the 4 floors of the MS. Thanks for your help! |
