5/6 Social Studies Mrs. Angelone

Welcome to Mrs. Angelone's Class!

This year is my 15th as a teacher and my 9th year working at IACS.  I have never found a school that I loved as much!  I love teaching Social Studies because it combines many of my specialties, including my interests in business, community economic development, and geography. This year I am excited to teach you about early explorers, Native Americans, early colonial life, slavery, and one of my favorite topics, basic economics concepts! I hope that you will learn about history and how it has led us to today's society through a variety of media and activities. Finally, this fall we will be attending an overnight field trip to Plimoth Plantation on October 15th and 16th.  Stay tuned for more information from me!
